Champ (107475) is the Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day. I am looking for that winning combination of a fun-loving and patient person who will help me become the best dog I can be. I am a one year old Chihuhhua and may be child-sized but I am not a toy or play thing. I feel my best with an adult or couple who will introduce me to my new home and routines slowly using positive reinforcements like praise and yummy treats. I will do best in a low traffic home as loud noises, fast movements or unfamiliar people quickly overwhelm me. I love to give lots of kisses on your face, once I have warmed up to you! I came to OHS through their Second Chance program from Baldwin Park LA Shelter. Please come visit with me and see what a great dog I am at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org. Champ's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability subject to prior adoption.
