Butterscotch is a beautiful red tabby, a small lady who will do best in a quiet home as an indoor kitty. Give her a cushion for window and a soft blanket for her bed, and some petting and she'll be a happy camper!

The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Butterscotch (shelter #59059). This beautifull little girl is a treasure to find as she is one of the unusual red tabbys. She may be a bit timid at first and would prefer a quiet home where she can adjust at her own pace. Butterscotch enjoys being petted and scratched on the chin. She likes to go on little adventures around her home to make sure all is well. Butterscotch would love to have a perch in her new home where she would be able to watch the outdoor goings on. She might enjoy having a bird feeder within view with lots of activity, or instead a squirrel feeding station.  Come visit her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Adoption hours are 10:00 to 6:30 Sunday-Wednesday; and 10:00 to 8:30 Thursday-Saturday. We are closed on New Years Day.

Her special December adoption fee of $12 includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
