The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Harriet Butters. He is an exceptionally handsome young fellow with a sweet personality. He is a little cautious at first, but warms up quickly with some gentle TLC. Once he feels comfortable, he gives headbutts, kneads, and even likes to chat a little bit. In his previous home he lived with other cats and got along nicely. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. Kittens are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside at Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. They all live in “colony rooms” with their fellow felines. Dogs are also available at the Westside Adoption Center. If you want know if your potential new best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. OHS dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility.
