The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Bugsy. He is a two year old Jack Russell Terrier searching for his new home. An owner with breed experience would be great for him. He is very high energy and will need someone who understands how energetic he can be and the best ways for him to burn that energy. Bugsy also will need to be the only pet in the household. A training consult is included prior to his adoption to help his new family learn about the training he has received while at the Oregon Humane Society to assist them with continuing his training and socialization.

Watch his video at: http://www.oregonhumane.org/adopt/detail.asp?animalID=146476 to see how well he can walk on a leash. You can meet with Bugsy at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post ado
