The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Buford (shelter#140041). He is a two year Basset Hound who believes that size doesn’t matter when it comes to being a lap dog as he thinks he should be one! Buford is a loving, sweet gentleman looking for a home that will give him the training and consistency he needs. He is a goof and will always make you smile. He has lived with his brother Fred his whole life and would be thrilled to find a home together. The breed can be vocal so apartment living isn't ideal. Buford is generally pretty laid back so won't require too much in the way of exercise but he definitely wants lots of company and love. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE
Buford’s special December 1- December 31, Home for the Holidays adoption fee of $50 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
