The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Brownie (shelter #141005). He is a two year old Beagle/Daschund mix that is a shy, yet charming dog searching for patient owners with a relaxed lifestyle and enough patience to help him come out of his shell. Brownie is looking for the right home that will give him the proper attention and care that he need to blossom into a confident happy young dog. He has been very scared and nervous in his current situation at the shelter, especially with a lot of noise. He will need to go to an adult only home where he can have time to settle in. Brownie really enjoys being around his people and spending time doing what they do. Whether going for a walk or spending time watching TV, he is ready to find his new forever home. A training consultation is included prior to Brownie’s adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half prior to closing each day.
