The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Brodie. This handsome fellow is a one and half year old Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix that is excited about finding his forever home. If you have experience with herding breeds and are looking for a companion to spend lots of time with than he might be the one for you. He has only lived outdoors in the past and will need someone who can help him with his housetraining. Brodie enjoys the company of other dogs and may do well in a home with another canine. If there are children in the family they will need to be older who can handle his energy and his possible tendency to herd. This boy is very sweet and is ready to find his new best friend. You can meet him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday- Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
