The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Bosco. He is an eight year old Beagle who is a  handsome companion and a great playmate. Bosco needs someone who is looking to go on long walks, and allow him to do what he does best, sniff! He is a loving and affectionate boy, loves treats and will chase a ball if thrown, but he's not the best at bringing it back. Bosco is used to being spoiled and will need a family that will let him be a part of the daily activities. Bosco is not a fan of sharing his space with other dogs and may need to be the only dog in his new home. He prefers long walks on the beach, or hiking in the woods so let's see if you can be come his new best friend. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are from 10 to 7 on Monday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Bosco's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
