Isn't she a beauty? Boots will prefer to be the only kitty in the house but has lives quite happily with dogs. She is used to adults or older cat savvy children. She's a bit independent but likes to talk to you!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Boots (Shelter #127411). She is a four year old seal point Himalayan looking for her forever home. Boots is a very special lady and she does have an independent disposition, but can be affectionate on her own terms. She loves to tell all kinds of stories and gives headbutts to her most trusted friends. Boots is not a huge fan of other cats and she prefers to be the queen of her castle. However she has previously lived with dogs and got along really well with them. She does not like to be over-handled and will let you know when she’s had enough, so a family with either older, more cat-experienced kids or adults only would suit her best. Come spend some time with Boots and see if she could be your new best friend! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing

The adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
