The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Bobby (shelter #132418). This adorable kitten may be shy with new people and situations but will usually quickly adjust to his new surroundings with your help. The important thing will be to create a feeling of safety for him by letting him settle in one room of your home with everything he needs: food, water, toys and a litter box. Interact with Bobby during this time so he gets used to you being a part of his new life. He will need toys, time with you, but most of all he will need your patience and love to blossom to his full potential. Bobby is just one on many, many kittens looking for their furever home and we have an August special for kittens and cats of two for the price of one! So you can adopt two kittens for $100! You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
