Big Vinnie is very handsome and more than ready to move from his current living situation, all of the activity has made him quite nervous. He's ready for a quiet indoor home!

Big Vinnie is the Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day. He is a handsome two year feline looking for a quiet home to call his very own. He is quite nervous in this new environment at the shelter and will need someone able to provide him with as much time and space as he needs in order to acclimate to his new home. Big Vinnie is FIV+ which means that he will need to be an indoor-only kitty and only live with other cats that are FIV+. However, not much is known about his history with other cats or dogs, so Vinnie might be happiest as the king of his castle. Because of his anxious disposition, we strongly recommend that he go to a home with either adults only or older, more cat-savvy kids who can respect his need for space. Vinnie prefers to spend his days lounging in the sun and receiving as much love and attention as possible. Give him a soft comfy bed and he'll soon be purring for you. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions hours end one prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and  plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
