The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Betty Boop (shelter #135722). This three year old all white kitty is a real sweetheart who will love to cozy up on a warm lap in her new home! She is shy but lovable and will easily warm your heart. While she is living with other cats in Betty's Playhouse at the Oregon Humane Society, we recommend a quite home without any other cats so Betty Boop can be the star of the show. She may also do better an an adult only home, or one with older cat savvy children. Betty Boop is quite the catch and will make a lifelong friend! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 9 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. During the month of October we have a special of "two cats for the price of one". Betty's adoption fee is $35, so you could adopt a second cat of the same adoption fee without additional charge. What a bargain!
Betty's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
