This handsome fellow is really uncertain about finding himself at an animal shelter. He needs a home with adult or older children who can respect his need for space while giving him love, time and treats to become comfortable in his new home.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Bentley. He is a sensitive three and half year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who hasn't quite gotten used to his new environment. He is be nervous in his new situation and when he finds his new forever Bentley will need to take things slowly so he can feel more comfortable in what is happening around him. Bentley would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in. With patience, love and lots of treats of course, Bentley should just open up and become a great addition to the family. A medical consultation is included prior to his adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
