Benji is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. He is a cute little two year old Terrier mix that is ready to be your companionship and playmate. Benji is a sensitive fella who hasn’t quite gotten used to his new environment. He can be nervous in new situations and prefers to take things slow so he can feel more comfortable in what is happening around him. Benji would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in. With patience and lots of treats of course, Benji will open up and become a great addition to your home. He is deaf and will need someone who can be his ears. A training consult is included prior to adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
