The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Bear. He is an extra handsome two year old gentleman who can't wait to find his forever home. He takes a little extra time to adjust to new surroundings, but once he feels comfortable, he is a delightful companion. He is very energetic and loves to play with toys. He also enjoys snuggle time and has a great, loud purr.  Bear will do best in a quiet home where his people will be patient with him while he settles in. He’ll love to have a nice soft bed and a place where he can view the outdoors. You can meet with Bear at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday through Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday through Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.

Bear’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
