Beanie (85421) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.
Beanie is a nine month old Dachshund / Chihuahua mix. He is a shy boy who is looking for someone who will understand his needs. His ideal home will be a quiet one with older children, where he is given lots of love and encouragement. Beanie is nervous around other dogs, so he would need to meet any resident dogs before going home. Beanie may have limited hearing, so new owners should be willing to research how to communicate with deaf dogs. Once he warms up, Beanie will be a loving boy who enjoys being a lap dog and walking companion.
Beanie's adoption fee is $200, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information. All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption. Visit Beanie at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
