The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Beaker. She is an absolutely adorable girl who loves her family and is content just to spend all her days lounging on the couch and enjoying all your favorite shows with you. She may even use her charming voice to chime in and offer her ponderings from time to time. Beaker is shy with new things and slow to warm up but she is a love bug with her family. This five year old lady likes to nuzzle and sleep on the bed with her people. She makes adorable squeaky noises when she plays and one of her greatest ambitions in life is to catch the red laser dot. Beaker is a low-key girl who would do best in a quiet, relaxed home with adults or mature older children. Invite Beaker into your hearts and let it be a wonderful life!. Bolt may do best in a home without cats. A training consultation is included prior to his adoption. She has been declawed so must be an indoors-only kitty. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end at 6:30 on Sunday-Wednesday and at 8:30 on Thursday-Saturday.
Beaker’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
