The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Bandit. He is a tiny five year old Chihuahua mix with a huge heart ready to be filled with love! I am a petite (weighs 6.25 lbs), affectionate little boy that wants nothing more than to be right by your side, or better yet, in your lap! His ideal home would be one with a bit of a slower pace, a calm, consistent house where he could possibly be the only dog as sometimes he can be picky with dog friends. He also would like to find an owner who is a good listener because he is quite talkative. Because of my size a home with older respectful children would be best. If he sounds like the small buddy you've been searching for you can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
