We don't know too much about Bam Bam, but are quickly learning that he is sweet, gentle and once he gets to know you he likes getting attention, in particular chin and rump scratches. He's more than ready to learn about the good life of a well pampered house cat!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Bam Bam. He is a sweet and sensitive four year old fellow in search of a nice, quiet home where he can show his people what they’ve been missing by not having him as a housemate!  He is a great companion and with him you get a lot of cat as he weighs just about fifteen pounds! This handsome young fellow is gentle and mild mannered, but rather shy in unfamiliar situations. Once Bam Bam gets time to get to know you, he loves attention, especially scratches on the chin and rump. Since we don't know much about his history with other pets, introductions to new animal friends should be taken slowly. Bam Bam will do best in a quiet home with just adults or older cat savvy children who will let Bam Bam come to them instead of chasing after him. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Bam Bam’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.

Adopt any adult cat or kitten and take home a second cat or kitten FREE! This offer is good only until July 21. OHS is stocked with lots of kittens and adult cats who all need wonderful homes. Perhaps the most rewarding reason for adopting two cats instead of one is knowing that you've given the gift of life, love and happiness to not just one but TWO cute cats. Adopt a pair and be a hero to two new friends.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center which is located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club on 6100 SW Macadam, Portland also has kittens and dogs for adoption. Visiting hours at this location are 10-6 Monday-Friday and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.
