The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Burrito (113923). He is a very loving and sweet little nine year old Chihuahua mix.. He is in need of a special home that can provide him with plenty of time to settle in and adjust to his new environment.. Burrito will need a home with no children as he startles easily and can be sensitive to over handling. He will enjoy the luxury of a quiet home with his new adoptive family which will soon become his favorite people. Once Burrito is comfortable he loves to snuggle up on a warm lap and be showered with love. Although Burrito is a little guy he will still need daily exercise and play time to keep him happy and healthy. Burrito came to the Oregon Humane Society through our Second Chance Program from Baldwin Park L.A. Shelter. He has been with us since the middle of September and in this time he has been learning to walk on a leash as twice daily walks are a part of his current routine. He may be a bit older but is still very lively and has lots of love to give once he gets to know you. You can meet with Burrito at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
