The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Buddy Max (110022). He is a sensitive eleven month old Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is looking for a home that will help continue his training and socialization. He has come to us from Curry County through the Second CHance Program so we could help him find that special someone. Buddy Max has not learned that much about being a great canine citizen so far in life. We think he would be a great candidate for taking a manners course, such as those offered at the Oregon Humane Society. He will do best in an active home with older children as he has some herding tendencies. Max will require a cat free home as he finds them fun to chase. He is a young dog with lots of energy and will be happy to join you on long walks and could be come your jogging companion. Are you the one who will be able to provide the patience to help this young fellow develop into a well mannnered canine citizen and be rewarded with his loveis for you? Come meet him at the Oregon Humane Socieity, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722 www.oregonhumane.org.
