The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Brownie (109644). He is a little, 6.125 lbs, handsome Chihuahua looking for his forever lap to lay and love upon. He can be a little nervous and shy with new people and situations and is looking for a calm home with humans who will spoil him to his hearts content.. He is young and still needs to learn all the tricks and tools to being an amazing canine citizen. He may not be suited for apartment living as he can be vocal when he wants attention. Brownie seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and would benefit from another adjusted canine companion. You can meet with Brownie, and if you have a resident dog, bring him/her also to meet Brownie at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
