Brody (120895) is the Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day.  He is an active two and half year old Chocolate Revriever/Labrador mix who likes to be on the go.  He will love to go for hikes or maybe jogging.  Brody does pull on the leash so we are recommending that you use a front lead harness with him.  He loves people, but may be too rough for smaller children.  He has no idea how big or strong he is, he just likes to play.  We don't know too much about his background with other animals so a home without cats may be best.  If you have a resident canine friend a pet meet is essential prior to adoption.  He is a sensitive boy and will need a patient person who has a soft voice as he feels really bad if he thinks you are mad at him.  Brody came to us from the Blue Mt. Humane Assoc. through our Second Chance Program.  You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-722.  Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday throught Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday through Saturday.  Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Brody's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
