The Oregon Humane Societiy's Dog of the Day is Bowser (118133). He is a sweet and loving four year old Terrier mix who can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This little, he only weighs 12.5 pounds is looking for a place to call his own and a companion with whom to spend lots of time. Bowser would enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. His handsome face and endearing personality will capture your heart and make you ask yourself how you ever lived without him. He would do best as the only pet so he could have all of his new families attention and would need ahome with older children who are dog savy and can respect his need for space and proper handling. Bowser is a sensitive kinda guy and can be vocal when wanting attention. Is he the canine friend you have been searching for? He will need a patient person who can help him with his housetraining and could benefit from joining you in a class in basis manners, such as is offered at the Oregon Humane Society. You can meet with Bowser at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday through Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday through Saturday. Adoption hours end one half prior to closing each day. We are closed on New Years Day.
Bowser's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
