The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Boo (116720). He is a sweet six month old Beagle that is looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of attention. He is still a young pup and is in need of further training and socialization. Boo has a good start to his basic manners but will greatly benefit from a training class where he can bond with his new companion. He is still getting familiar with the world around him and can be shy and startle easily at times. Because of this Boo will do best in a home with dog savvy children that can respect his space. His new home will also need to be cat-free as he enjoys chasing them. You can meet him at Lexi Dog, the Oregon Humane Society's Westside Adoption Center on 6100 SE Macadam Ave., Portland 503-245-4363.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
