The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Blessings (94746) is just that, he can become a Blessing for you. He is shy at first but warms up quickly to people. He will need a home that can give him time to adjust to the area and people. Blessigns is a five and half year old Chichuhua mix who can be a little independent at times, and does not like to be over-handled too much so he will need someone who can respect that. A home with adults or respective older children is a must for him. He loves to go for rides in the car and seems polite in the home. Blessings does not like his nails trimmed, so he may need to go to a professional for that. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. www.oregonhumane.org to meet Blessing's other frionds at the Oregon Humane Society.
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availabiity is subject to prior adoption.
