The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Biscuit (108088). I am a curious and active one year old Chihuahua who is looking for someone who wants a companion dog for lots of fun! I have a playful side but I don't really like to be fussed with a lot, no playing dress up for me. I may be child-sized but I prefer the company of adults. I do best if my environment is calm and quiet--a steady routine is just what I need. I have an affectionate nature and gives lots of kisses once I know and trust my special people, but can be very unsure when meeting new people. I came to OHS from the Baldwin Park LA shelter through our Second Chance Program, where I was originally found as a stray. A training consultation is included in my adoption. You can visit with me at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. (503-258-7722). www.oregonhumane.org.
Biscuit's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy vet exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
