The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Belinda (shelter number 111244). She is a beautiful four year old tortiseshell and white gal with a sweet, yet shy disposition. She may require a little extra time to adjust to her new environment. Belinda is waiting for her forever home where she will receive all the love and care she has been missing out on. This sweetheart has not spent much time around young children, and can be timid at times, so an adult only home or one with only cat savvy older children would be best for her. She is living with other cats in Marios Mansion at the Oregon Humane Society and has a mixed history living with other cats where some have caused her stress, and others don't faze her. Belinda may be happiest as an only kitty. All this lovely girl is looking for is a warm, quiet, and welcoming home and family who will give her plenty of back scratches and lots of loving hugs. Are you the patient and kind person that Belinda needs? You can meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Belinda's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
