The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is BC. He will make a loving companion in the right home! He is looking for a quiet, relaxed home with no small children. He is overwhelmed by change and commotion and will need a short while to adjust. Once he's settled, he likes to curl up close with his family for a good movie. He is hopeful every time someone goes into the kitchen and will try to charm you for food. He enjoys a variety of toys but his favorites are things with feathers. BC is great with other cats and has also lived with a dog. At the Oregon Humane Society he is living with other cats in Parkers Place and is getting along with his feline friends in the colony room. He does look a bit peculiar now as the back portion of his body, and a part of his tail, had to be shaved because of the matted hair that could not be brushed out. You can be the best thing that's ever happened to BC by giving him his forever home! Visit him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
