The Oregon Huamen Society's Dog of the Day is Baby Boy (120680). He is an adorable, playful five month old Pointer/Labrador puppy. He will need a home that can provide for him the time and energy it takes raising a puppy and guide him to grow up to be a fantastic canine citizen. Puppies are incredibly cute but they need guidance, commitment and a whole lot of patience. Like all puppies, Baby Boy will need continued socialization, help with house-training and outlets for his youthful energy. We highly recommend taking Baby Boy through a puppy class where he can start learning basic manners, meet other people and dogs. Here at OHS we offer classes and are happy to help you with all of your training needs and questions. We also recommend crate-training your new puppy and have a crate rental program that allows you to exchange the crate as your puppy grows, please inquire at the front desk. If you truly are ready for a puppy then this great puppy is ready for you! You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday through Wenesday; and 10 am through 9 pm Thursday through Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
