The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Aspen (shelter #134765). He is a handsome seven year old gentleman looking for just the right family to give him all of the love and attention he desires and deserves in his prime of live. Sometimes Aspen finds new situations to be rather overwhelming, so he would do best with adults only or older, more cat-experienced kids who can respect his need for space while he adjusts. We do not know if Aspen has previously been around other cats or dogs, so any introductions should be taken cautiously. When Aspen feels comfortable (after some good quality chin scratches), he is quite affectionate and has a quiet but sincere purr. Could Aspen be the purrfect addition to your family? You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. Watch the OHS Telethon October 14th from 1 pm to 5 pm on KATU, channel 2!
