Ardy (83615) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.
Meet Ardy, a one year old Rat Terrier looking for her forever home. Ardy was pregnant when she arrived at OHS and she has spent the last few months in foster care raising her puppies. Now that her nest is empty, she is searching for a home of her own. Ardy was part of a large group of rescued dogs. She was not well socialized as a young pup and consequently is very timid around new people. Because of her rough start in life, Ardy needs a patient and understanding family that will accept her for who she is and give her time to adjust to her new home.
She has bonded with her foster parents and enjoys sitting on their lap, snuggling under the bed covers, and playing with her toys. Ardy lives with other dogs and a cat in her foster home and she gets along well with all of them. With the right family and some time and patience, Ardy can blossom into a wonderful companion. If you are interested in learning more about Ardy, please contact Barb Cushway at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-285-7722 for more information. Ardy's adoption fee is $150, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information. All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption.
