This beautiful brown tabby is just waiting for someone to give her the best present ever, her forever home! She may be a bit shy at first, but has lived with other kitties and may do well with a feline friend. Come visit her at Marios Mansion at the Oregon Humane Society!

The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Amelia (shelter #139223). She is a sweet little two year lady that is looking for the purrrfect home. She has previously lived with other cats and they all got along splendidly. She is currently living with other kitties in Marios Mansion at the Oregon Humane Society and seems to be doing well with the others there. She enjoys playing with her toys and keeping herself busy. Amelia can be a bit shy at first and may need some extra time to warm up to her new friends and living situation, but give her some TLC, and a soft bed to cuddle and toys to play with and she'll soon be happy in her new home. You can visit with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

December is Home for the Holidays month so Amelia's special adoption fee is $12 for December. This includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
