The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Almond. He is a sweet-natured six year old fellow who is looking for a quiet and laid-back home. He is a free spirit and enjoys his independence. He likes spending his days lounging, chatting with you, and gazing out the window, but occasionally he will get a wild hair and chase his toys through the house! Almond would prefer to be the only pet in a home without young children, as he thrives in a peaceful and relaxed environment. Once Almond gets to know you, he may like to cuddle and receive gentle pets. Almond has allergies and needs to stay on his special diet to stay healthy. Come visit him today... you’ll go nuts for Almond! If you are interested in meeting Almond, please contact the Foster Care Department at foster@oregonhumane.org.

He also comes with a care package that includes toys, food dishes, a soft blanket and more! Almond’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
