Albert is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. He is a five year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador mix who is a sweet and loving fellow that can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This big, strong man is looking for a place to call his own and a companion who will spend time with him. Albert would enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. He is a big fellow weighing 101 lbs, but can be very be very gentle as he sits for treats, but because of his size when he gets excited his zest for life can show. We recommend mature dog savvy children for Albert so they can handle his enthusiasm and will be able to also work with him on training. He would do best without cats due to his breed. Albert's a handsome fellow and has a personality that makes you want to take him home. When you meet with him, he will begin to capture your heart and make you ask yourself how you ever lived without him. Albert came to us from Bonnie Hayes Shelter through as a part of our Second Chance Program to assist him in find his forever home. A medical consult is included prior to his adoption.
