Adore is shy at first and she does enjoy a quieter adult home. She is a three year old Dachshund mix that is sweet and very small, 7 1/2 lbs. A training consult comes prior to her adoption!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Adore. She is a shy but sweet little three and half year old Dachshund mix. Once she gets to know you the shyness begins to disappear and her true personality shows through. This pretty face doesn't give away her love to just anyone and Adore is looking for a home that won't overwhelm her. She enjoys the company of adults and prefers a quiet environment where she can feel more at ease. Adore still needs some help with her potty training and will need to be supervised while outside because she likes to explore. If you have an easy going home for this little girl to settle into be sure to come meet her! A training consultation is included prior to Adore's adoption.  You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Adore’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
