Abe (56157) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.

Abe is a three year old Labrador Retriever mix. He is a nice and well mannered dog who was returned to OHS because his owners could no longer take care of him. Abe has had some training in his previous home, and is crate trained and housebroken. He loves playing with other dogs, but has a habit of chasing cats, so he will need to go to a cat-free home. Because of Abe's energy level and size, he would do best in a home with older children. Abe is going to need some additional training along with daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy. If you are looking for an active hiking and camping companion, Abe may be the one for you!

Abe's adoption fee is $150, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information.  All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption.  Visit Abe at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
