Alfie (123234) & Ardie (123235) are the Oregon Humane Society's Dogs of the Day.  They are both very sweet but shy three year old Bichon Frise mix fellows looking for a loving home.  They came to us all the way from New York to find their new family in the Pacific Northwest!  Alfie made the journey with his friend Ardie and would love to go home with him as well, although it is not required.  They may take some time to adjust to their new home, but once they become comfortable with their new family they will be great lap dogs and walking buddies.  Ardie and Alfie both can be a bit shy at first and  will do best in a home with older children who will not overwhelm them. They will also need regular grooming to keep their fantastic coats looking bright and fluffy!  If you have been looking for a sweet little pair Alfie and Artie are here to meet you!  The adoption fee for both dogs together is $400.  They both are at our Westside Adoption Center located in Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club at 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland (503-245-4363).  Here they spend time with the other dogs who attend doggie day care and get walks twice a day by Oregon Humane Society volunteers.  Adoption hours are 11 am to 5 pm on weekdays; and 10 am to 4 pm on weekends.  If you have a resident canine friend bring them along for a pet meet. The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
