Alena (116266O is the Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day.  She is at our Westside Adoptions Center am at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland, OR (503-245-4363).  You can meet with her there Wednesday - Friday 4pm to 6pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm! Adopt Alean and a second cat is free!  This beautiful two year old feline is looking for a quiet home that she can call her own.  She likes to get pets and will sit beside you and occasionally sit on your lap. She is currently living with two other cats at Lexi Dog but we do not know anything about her history with children, so she might do well older, more cat-experienced kids.  She can be rather shy and nervous in new situations, so she will need time to become acclimated to her new surroundings before she reveals her loving personality.  Alena likes having her hair brushed which helps keep her medium length hair from matting. She enjoys her meals and happily crunches away on dry food, but really does enjoy having a small portion of wet food. Could Alena be the new best friend youve been searching for?

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption
