The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Acorn (117765). " I am at the Westside Adoption Center at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland, OR (503-245-4363). Come meet me there!" Acorn is a sensitive three year old Mini Pinscher that will need a patient owner to help him bust out of his shell and become a confident canine. Acorn is very attentive with people and would love to find that special someone to bond with. He is a little shy and nervous when it comes to loud noises and fast movements and will do best in a home without children. Acorn will require daily mental and physical activity. Acorn would benefit from a basic manners class, such as the one offered by Oregon Humane Society to give his confidence a boost and will help him to not be nervous in new situations or with new people. Acorn can be vocal for attention and may not be suited for apartment living. Acorn came to OHS from Merced through our Second Chance Program to find his new home with you! He is anxiously waiting a "Home for the Holidays!"
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
