PORTLAND -- The Rose City Classic brought thousands of dogs to the Portland Expo Center for five days of dog shows.
Organizers called it one of the biggest shows in the nation, with more than 4,000 dogs participating.
The show has something for every dog lover, including agility and obedience trials, and it's all put together by volunteers.
“I don't know the fortune you would have to spend to get a professional to come in and set it up,” said organizer Patty Strand, "but this is really just for the love of dogs. It's a couple of clubs getting together. People work year round to put this on."
The show wraps up Sunday.
