PORTLAND – “Craft night“ in Portland means a lot more than construction paper and paste. Wednesday evening, Destination DIY, SCRAP and ADX are putting on a listening party and project night in Southeast Portland.

What is it? Pizza, beer, a DJ and answers from DIY boatmaker Peter Crim. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own project or choose from project kits from SCRAP.

There’s also DIY Trivia. ADX is a multi-use creative workshop in Southeast Portland dedicated to encouraging people design it and build it themselves – whatever “it” may be.

The space houses wood and metal shops, co-working desks, and larger open areas for big projects.

Destination DIY is an independently produced radio show that airs on OregonPublic Broadcasting. SCRAP promotes educational and reusable materials in Portland.

When: 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 and reoccurring every fourth Wednesday Where: ADX, 417 S.E. 11th Ave. 503-830-4785 All ages Suggested $3-5 donation
