This pretty little gal came to us from Multnomah Animal Services so we could help her find her forever home. She came to them as a stray so we do little about her, but she is a sweet cat that enjoys gentle petting and is happy for a soft bed! Come visit her today at the Oregon Humane Society!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Lila. This sweet girl was a transfer from Multnomah County Animal Services. She came to us through our Second Chance Program so that she may find a new loving home. Not much is known about Lila's past. She came in as a stray in search for a loving forever home. Lila enjoys gentle petting, being told how beautiful she is as well as having a nice warm bed to nap on and good meals. Lila’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. You can visit with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Adopt any adult cat or kitten and take home a second cat or kitten FREE! Due to popular demand, this offer has been extended indefinitely. The Oregon Humane Society is stocked with lots of kittens and adult cats who all need wonderful, caring homes.

Every Tuesday the Oregon Humane Society offers an adoption special for people age 60 and up. A select group of 20 pets will be available for adoption to seniors at no charge every Tuesday. All other pets will have their adoption fees reduced by $50 when they are adopted by individuals over 60 on Tuesday.

Kittens are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside at Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. They all live in “colony rooms” with their fellow felines. Dogs are also available at the Westside Adoption Center.  If you want know if your potential new best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. OHS dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility.  Visiting and adoption hours for both kittens and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday at the Westside Adoption Center.
