Looking for something special to do over the holidays? Here are some of the big events in the Portland metro area:

Winter Wonderland at PIR
If you want to stay warm and cozy inside your car, travel to the Portland International Raceway to the largest holiday lights show west of the Mississippi.  The drive-through show features over 250 colorful light displays and fully animated scenes. Peacock Lane
Just maybe Portland's most famous Christmas destination since the 1920s. Every home on SE Peacock Lane between Belmont and Stark is lit up. Peacock Lane

Oregon Zoolights

Christmas Ship Parade

Christmas Story on stage

Holiday crafts at Pioneer square
Portland Saturday Market goes uptown for three days with craft offerings at Pioneer Square on Dec. 7 through 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The regular Saturday Market runs every day from Dec. 16 through Christmas. Saturday Market at the Square
