Saturday is the annual Portland SantaCon - if you've never heard of it, that's where hundreds of decadent and depraved St Nick-suited revelers spread Christmas chaos through downtown.

This year it seems the barroom romp was going to be under a scroogier eye by the police, some said, so alternate plans were made to take the party to Hillsboro.

Then - another faction said forget downtown altogether, the Anti Con planned to stage their Yuletide tour in No Po on the eastside.

So the jolly old elves should be appearing just about all over on Saturday.
