If Oregon plays the way Chip Kelly talks, the Ducks' prospects for the national championship look good.
At Friday's media day, Kelly breezed past repeated media efforts to get him to speculate on the Pac-10 versus the SEC, or Heisman winner Cam Newton versus Heisman finalist LaMichael James.
Kelly talked fast, just like Oregon plays fast. Kelly was focused, just like his team plays focused.

He compared his Ducks football team to the famous Oregon track star Steve Prefontaine: "He went as hard as he could, for as long as he could."
He downplayed conference and personal rivalries, meantioning he spoke with Auburn coach Gene Chizik the night before. LaMichael James also talked about the respect he has for Cam Newton, and how he got to know Newton during the Heisman weekend.
When talk turned to the game, Kelly was all business: "If you're gonna keep score, you might as well win."
Asked for a prediction for the game's outcome, Kelly said simply: "We'll play fast, we'll play hard, and we'll finish."
