The big game might be on Monday night, but the big party is on Sunday.
The official pep rally for both Auburn and Oregon fans is at the Bud Light Fiesta in Scottsdale Sunday afternoon. Before the two teams collide on the field, they will battle for rally supremacy with a line-up of competing celebrities.
The Auburn rally Sunday afternoon will feature the school's most famous football alumnus, Bo Jackson. Jackson was the rare two-sport pro star who played both Major League Baseball and in the NFL. Ironically, Jackson has several points of intersection with his team's opponent in the championship game. Arguably Jackson's most famous and athletic touchdown run came against the Seattle Seahawks. And his two-sport prowess led to a big Nike endorsement deal, and he even has the Bo Jackson building named in his honor on the Beaverton campus world headquarters. Of course, Nike founder Phil Knight is a UO alum and huge financial supporter of the Ducks program.

NBA all-star Charles Barkley will also be appearing at the Auburn pep rally to pump up their fans.
Oregon's official pep rally later Sunday afternoon has its own line-up, including golfer Peter Jacobsen, and slew of star Ducks quarterbacks from the past, including Dan Fouts, Joey Harrington and Dennis Dixon.
But perhaps the headline-stealer for the Ducks is the musical act. Otis Day & the Knights, best known for their appearance in the classic movie Animal House - filmed in part on the UO campus - will perform to cap off the Sunday rally.
