Track Town USA is back.
For ten days in June and July, storied Hayward Field in Eugene will host the USA Olympic Track & Field Trials.
A new scoreboard has been installed, extra seating has been added, and a who's who of talent is set to compete.
The Trials start Friday June 26th and run through Sunday July 6th. A complete schedule of events can be found here.
Results of the meet will determine who represents the USA in every track and field event from the 100 meter dash to the 10,000 meters.
A host of runners with local connections will toe the line, including Kara Goucher, Galen Rupp, Dan Browne, and Nick Symmonds. KGW and KGW.com will have continuous coverage during the competitions.
