When I got into work this morning one of the feed point guys (the people who are THE clearinghouse for video) wanted to show me some more fun stuff from our basketball players in the mixed zone. It made me laugh-- maybe you, too.

Anyway, you'll have to sit through a minute on the Kobe/Steph bet discussion before we get to the behind-the-scenes mixed zone video.

Here's the URL so you can watch it:
Kobe & LeBron Drop Some Scary

I talked to Coach McMillan at practice today. At the risk of sounding all "Pollyanna Sunshine & Kittens" as I'm inclined to do, let me be the first to tell you I'm just thrilled he's leading the Blazers. Absolutely thrilled. While I can't wow you with his coaching statistics, can't tell you about his playing days, or even speak knowledgeably about his tenacious D.. I can tell you that he is a wise dude who impressed me with his grasp of the big picture, his candor, and his ability to take away valuable knowledge from these Olympics and apply it to how he coaches his team at home.

I told one of the trainers who works with LeBron that it's a shame more people can't meet all of these guys in the context that I'm able to at the Olympics.

GO TEAM USA!!!
Ps. LeBron was just as wild as ever at practice. We saved a little video of that and will run it here in the next few days. Although I was bummed he didn't breakdance (poorly) this time around.

Pps. The wish-you-could-have-been-there-moment: Dwight Howard and Carlos Boozer animatedly discussing which superhero they would be.
