One of the biggest stories this weekend was the turnabout by Free Agent Forward Hedo Turkoglu. He had an agreement with the Blazers and then turned around and decided to go to Toronto.
Apparently, his wife likes Toronto. I'm sure if Hedo and his wife moved here he would love the Rose City. However, I he really should do what he feels is best for him.
Turkoglu is a professional basketball player. That is his job. If he gets a five year deal...that is a significant amount of time. He needs to make sure that he makes a decision he will be happy and comfortable with. Maybe he did change his mind, but moving to another city is a big decision. There are many things to consider and family is one of them.
The Blazers will be fine without Turkoglu and hopefully he will wind up happy with his decision.
